The Hospital Bed Nursing Fleece is 100% Merino wool. Manufactured by

Nursing Fleece was created specifically for hospital beds from fine Merino

wool- providing a comforting surface that will prevent and treat Pressure Sores,

Bedsores and Decubitus Ulcers. This wool mattress cover with its 550 g/m² of

fine Merino Wool also wicks moisture away from the skin; keeping it dry and

less likely to tear.

The Hospital Nursing Fleece is 35" x 80" - the size of most hospital beds.

A fully fitted skirt keeps this wonderful wool mattress pad, thicker than most,

in place. This skirt will stretch to fit a 18" ( 45cm )  deep mattress.

Care:

Machine washable in Woolskin.- use the Gentle/Wool cycle. Periodically,

it should be given a good shake to restore the pile and aired outside on a

windy day. Generally only needs laundering every 3-4 months. Air dry is

best; since wool does best with about 12% residual moisture.

Woolskin will condition the wool and disinfect The Hospital Bed Nursing

Fleece- thereby reducing the chances of pressure sore infection.
