Wool really is a Miracle fibre. Wool prevents pressure sores, bedsores and decubitus ulcers. The combination of pressure reduction, moisture absorption and reduced shear provided by the wool fibres, results in Pressure Sore Prevention.
Wool is found naturally attached to leather in the form of sheepskin. Shorn wool is knitted by the sliverknit process to produce a dense pile that resembles sheepskin in appearance. The major difference between all of these products is the wool-pile density. Pressure Mart XD1900 has the highest pile density, then Australian Medical Sheepskin and then Hospital Nursing Fleece.
