Shear Comfort Heel Protectors ( sold in pairs) provide unencumbered protection for the at-risk heel and ankle areas. Wash in Woolskin for best care. Best care is using air drying on a flat surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. The leather takes longer to dry than the wool. Wool does best with 15% residual moisture. Normal household detergents will damage this product.

We were so excited to get the heel proctector - M112 - It will not stay on -- I put it on every night for two weeks but it only stayed on all night one time. I should have ordered the Shear Comfort pressure care boot. But it is so expensive I cannot afford it.
Down-Under Wool: If a person moves a lot while in bed, it might be better to choose the Shear Comfort Heel Protector- SC112. This product will remain on the foot and is very difficult to remove without releasing the Velcro strap.
